Just finally finished this illustration take me long time, in the middle of winter try to paint some happy and colorfull poppies!!!!
First: Wash of watercolor for the leafs, I always start any illustration painting the leaves and steams.
Second: Wash of watercolor of the flowers each petal and add more color if needed
Third: Details on leafs, petals and centers! Most of the time like to use gouache and inks!!!
Watercolor: Watercolors W&N Windsor and Newton Set and some details with black and white ink.

Acabo de terminar esta ilustración me tomo mucho tiempo, no decidía los colores en pleno invierno quería algo de color, amapolas de colores!
Primero: Acuarela suave en las hojas, tallos y verdes, siempre empiezo pintando con verde.
Segundo: Acuarela en las flores, cada petalo de diferente tono y mas intensidad si necesita.
Tercero: Detalles en las hojas, petalos, pistilos! Casi siempre hago los detalles con guache o tintas!!!
Acuarelas: Paleta de acuarelas W&N Windsor and Newton y detalles en tinta negra.
